A handful of American companies still build production motorcycles here, from Harley-Davidson's touring bikes in York, Pennsylvania, and Indian's cruisers in Spirit Lake, Iowa, to small builders such as Boss Hoss, with its Chevy V8 bikes, and Janus, with its lightweight vintage-style roadsters. Most of them buy some major parts from outside suppliers, and each listing names the ones the company or a reliable source mentions, such as engines or electronics.
